Ajo, Arizona
Ajo Golf Course features a “classic” Arizona setting for tee times. This course, long a popular destination for nearby Tucson golf lovers, has the Ajo Mountains to the south and the Childs Mountain to the west. An arroyo cuts through the middle of the course. This is a majestic layout to play, and often times local wildlife is visible, including roadrunners, coyotes and deer. Also known as the Ajo Country Club, this course requires strategic shotmaking to reach the fast, small greens through the tree-lined fairways. The signature hole is number 9, a 123-yard par 3, featuring water and tall palm trees protecting the green.
