Brattleboro, Vermont
The expansion of the former 9 hole course resulted in an 18 hole golf course based on the same philosophy that made the previous course such a pleasure and challenge to play. New holes feature approaches over natural water hazards as well as dog legs from the tees. The new 18 hole course follows and relies on the natural contours of the rolling hilltops just a mile and a half from downtown Brattleboro,Vermont. The course, which has course/slope ratings of 71/123, 69.3/118 and 70/116, offers a rare combination of inviting (but not wide open) fairways and challenging approach shots without the pretension of an overly tailored course with artificial hazards. The yardage from the championship and the membership tees, is a total of 6508 and 6073 yards, respectively, with a par of 71. A full driving range, practice area and instructional range are available.
