Alamosa, Colorado
Cattails Golf Course formally known as Alamosa Golf Club, started out as a 9 hole facility around 50 years ago. A trip to Cattails Golf Course will test your game and reward you with a relaxing round of golf. Cattails Golf Course has a reputation of "getting away from the crowds". There is abundant wildlife and a 360-degree view of the Sangre De Cristo and San Juan mountain ranges. The golf course has hosted many events over the years such as the Colorado State Championships in 2003 and The RMAC Collegiate Championships various times. In 1991, with the partnership of the City of Alamosa and countless individuals, the golf course then added the back nine. At that time the course was renamed Cattails Golf Course. The new nine brought an experience of a traditional front nine that is around 50 years old and a new modern designed back nine. This gave the golf course a unique feel on each side.
