Lying amid the foothills of the Jemez Mountains is one of the best tee times in the New Mexico golf scene. Cochiti Golf Course has long attracted fans of both Albuquerque golf (50 minutes to the south) and Santa Fe golf (40 minutes to the northeast). Cochiti has done so by earning a reputation as one of the top pueblo golf courses in New Mexico and the entire PGA Sun Country Section. Designed in 1981, this Robert Trent Jones Jr. design is a high desert gem, famous for natural beauty and scenic views. In fact, locals have even dubbed it, “Heaven with a zip code.” Cochiti Golf Club is a challenging yet fair layout, where every hole is a signature hole.
