Colonial Golf Course

Hart, Michigan

The Colonial Golf Course was designed by Jeff Gourney and opened for play in 1999. The original deed to this property dates back to 1858 and was signed by President James Buchanan (he proceeded Abraham Lincoln). The stately and unique clubhouse is home to the bar and restaurant and offers some spectacular sunsets from the patio. The Colonial offers something for everyone: The 12-acre driving range is an excellent place to warm up before your round or to hone your swing and improve your game. The nine-hole par 30 Heritage course is a delightful track that will challenge novice and expert alike. Beautiful greens and a great design will have our using most all of your clubs before you finish. Do not let the 1600 yards fool you; the only thing that is easy about this course is the cost. This is an excellent course for junior and beginning golfer, no large intimidating holes or crowds, just a great place to play. The Colonial Course is very golfer friendly with large greens and four sets of tees. From 5100 to 6900 yards in length and always in excellent playing condition this course is fun and challenging. Whether you shoot under par or are just trying to break 100. With the prevailing wind form Lake Michigan the Colonial offers a little of everything in its eighteen holes, but most of all it offers a truly enjoyable golfing experience.
