At Countryside Golf Club in Mundelein, Illinois, located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, golfers can play two challenging and award-winning 18-hole golf courses. The Prairie (East) Course was designed by Bob Lohman in 1991, and features bent grass tees, wide-open greens and sand bunkers that offer golfers a chance to challenge their game. The Traditional (West) Course, built in 1927, has bent grass tees and tree-lined fairways that offer golfers scenic and challenging rounds of play. Countryside is the third public golf course in Illinois and the 14th in the nation distinguished as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.
