Desert Springs is not only one of the best of the bunch, it is also one of the most popular courses among Phoenix golf lovers. The layout at Desert Springs spans 7,006 yards from the longest tees for a par of 72, a course rating of 73 and a slope of 131 on Bermuda grass. The design was crafted by Billy Casper/Greg H. Nash, ASGCA, and it first debuted in 1996.
