Falls Road is a public golf course located in Potomac MD minutes from Washington DC. This was the first MCG golf course, which opened in 1961. Located on 150 acres of former farmland east of the Village of Potomac, the layout offers fun round of golf with scenic rolling terrain. With 4 sets of tees, generous fairways, and large greens the golf course is friendly to beginners, juniors, women, and senior golfers. It has a great mix of holes – the front nine is a parkland type course and the back nine is more tree lined which makes it fun for golfers of all abilities. The course measures slightly more than 6100 yards from the back tees and plays to a par 70. Falls Road golf course was completely renovated in 2003 including the construction of a new clubhouse. The Falls Road golf shop offers a complete line of golf equipment and the latest in men’s and women’s clothing apparel while the food area includes relaxing space to have a quick meal and enjoy a game. Falls Road also offers a 22 stall driving range that is lighted for your evening enjoyment. Falls Road is just minutes from Bethesda, Chevy Chase and Darnestown Maryland, as well as Great Falls, McLean, Tysons and other areas of Fairfax County in Northern Virginia.
