Established in 1983, the topography on the Old Course consists of gently rolling terrain with slow moving streams winding throughout the course. Strategically placed bunkers and heavily wooded areas makes this course a challenge for all level of Garland golf enthusiasts. The Old Course plays to a par of 71 with a length of 6845 yards from the back tees to a length of 5497 yards from the front tees. The course features tree-lined fairways, winding creeks, rolling hills, and 65 strategically placed bunkers. With 419 Bermuda tees, mid-iron fairways, and Champion Bermuda greens, the Old Course remains a favorite among area golfers. The multiple teeing areas makes the course play from 7054 (back tees) to 5692 (front tees).
