The South Course is now open! The public has greeted the new South Course with tremendous enthusiasm. Ten months in the construction process, the South Course at Foxtail has undergone an extensive renovation and is now open for play. Improvements include comprehensive fairway drainage, contoured and returfed fairways, and new bunkers and tees. There have also been irrigation improvements such as pond restoration and new pumps and controls. "Everything about the new South Course is better – new tees, contoured fairways and 14 new bunkers." says club General Manager John Theilade of the par-71, 6,500 yard layout. "The difference is night and day with the new drainage."
