Franklin Bridge Golf Club

Franklin, Tennessee

Some golf courses just feel right, ya know? This is one of those. With many courses designed in and amongst massive housing developments, our Harpeth River Bottom stands out with homes only in plain view on 3 of our fun 18 Holes. Built on historic old farmland in the late 80's, this links style course really feels like a respite amongst the booming growth of Williamson County. Beautiful old trees, fitting mounds and the Harpeth … ohhhh, the Harpeth River … just can't beat crossing back and forth across her a few times! For you golf geeks, we were designed by well-known golf course architect, Gary Roger Baird. As basically the only Public 18-Hole Championship Golf Course in Williamson County measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and features two of the best and most challenging holes in Tennessee, what is now the 4th hole and the 18th with one of golf's great icons, an Island Green! The front nine has a relaxed beginning with a short par 4 and reachable par 5 second hole. Things toughen up pretty quickly with the uphill 3rd and our signature hole on the front that we named the course after, the dogleg left 4th across the Harpeth. Number 7 requires a long tee shot and demanding tee shot to an elevated green across the Harpeth. You will at least enjoy the views as you cross the famed Bridge no matter the score you make on this beast. The nine finishes with our most difficult Par 5, requiring a very accurate tee shot over the big lake, and then another one over the lake again to set up your approach. The back nine offers several doglegs and water hazards to test a player’s accuracy. The sixteenth hole is a 449-yard, par 4 with an approach to the green over a creek, and the eighteenth hole is a 578-yard, par 5 split fairway with a second shot over water to a landing area shadowed by a pond on the right. Come experience one of the area’s most dynamic, fun, and challenging golf course layouts in the Nashville Golf Mecca.
