Fresh Meadow Golf Course is the closest 18-hole facility to Downtown Chicago, making tee times at the Hillside golf course a popular commodity. Many Chicago golf aficionados consider this their home course, regularly making the drive just 20 minutes west from the Loop off of I-290. The course is Parkland style with water in play on four holes, 34 green-side bunkers, and push-up style greens that are fairly large and sloped. Fresh Meadow also features a snack bar perfect for relaxing before or after a round. There are two seasonal practice bunkers and chipping greens, a large practice putting green and an heated, lighted Learning Center, which is open year round.
