Genesee Valley Golf Course | South

The Genesee Valley Golf Course is a public facility located on the Southwest side of Rochester in Genesee Valley Park. It is the closest publicly accessible course to Downtown Rochester. We have 2 full 18-hole courses: the North (or “Old”) course and the South (or “New”) course. The North Course is longer and moderately challenging, the South Course is shorter consisting of only par 3’s and par 4’s. The South Course is short and simpler. It is perfect for beginners, families and anyone interested in a quick 9 or 18 holes at a great price. Although known by old-timers as the “New” course it was built in 1923, which makes it old by many US golf standards. The South Course is also home to Rochester’s only full 18 hole AFGL Certified Footgolf course.
