As enjoyable to play as it is beautiful, this course has abundant native plants and wildlife. There is a sense of serenity and solitude unique for a course that is mere minutes from downtown Houston. Amid the finely groomed fairways, the well-engineered greens and the challenging bunkers, you can almost hear the echoes of the PGA TOUR Professionals inviting you to have fun, encouraging you to compete and inspiring you to improve your game. Step onto the tee box with Singh or Couples. Face Scott or Appleby and enjoy the rare combination of professional quality and beauty of this course. There is only one pro shop. It is shared with the members only course. *DRIVING RANGE: [NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC] Only open to members (can use it anytime) or public golfers playing that day. Included in the greens fees Monday: Dawn-4pm Tuesdays: 9am-Dusk Wed-Sun: Dawn-Dusk Always hits off grass *PRACTICE FACILITIES: Putting, chipping greens and practice bunkers available for all players. *CLUB AMENITIES: Fully stocked golf shop with clothes and equipment. Locker facilities for men and women. Showers for men and women. Towels provided for men's and women's showers. *CLUB RENTAL: Taylormade M2 $59+tax Men's RH and LH (stiff available) Women's RH only. No LH. JR's not available. *CADDIES: Forecaddies and Walking Caddies are required before twilight for anyone if they are not a member of Golf Club of Houston or Shadow Hawk GC. Caddies are required for Blackhawk Members. Caddies are not required after twilight. If someone requests a specific caddie put the caddie's name in the notes field. [Walking Caddy:] $90 per player (paid to the golf shop) They can accommodate 1 or 2 players since they carry their bags. Recommended $60 gratuity per player There are single bag and double bag walking caddies available.
