The Indian Wells Golf Resort, located 30 minutes southeast of Palm Springs, California, and within walking distance of four luxury hotels in Indian Wells, is the premier golf destination for everyone from amateurs to pros to presidents. It was home of the 2007 and 2008 LG Skins Game and is the only 36-hole facility in California with both courses ranked in the Top 20 "Best Courses You Can Play" by Golfweek Magazine. The Players Course opened in November 2007 and was designed by prominent architect John Fought. It presents a brilliant contrast to their Celebrity course, and is the more challenging of the two. Featuring dynamic bunkering, generous fairway corridors and undulating topography, the Players Course is aesthetically fascinating and provides a challenge to all types of players.
