Mount Dora, Florida
The Mount Dora Golf Club is a member-owned club that is open to the public. The scenic Florida landscape features 85 acres of old oaks, pines and palms, all lining the fairways and provide cool shade on the hottest days. Billed as "The Longest 5,700 yards in Florida," this par 70 course with varied elevation manages the difficult double task of challenging serious players while helping rookies relax as they learn this classic game. The course has a rich history that dates back to 1945, when GIs returning from WWII first founded the Mount Dora Golf Association.
