Welcome to North Kern golf course, opened in 1953 and named after the late golf Pro Jim Haggerty. North Kern Golf Course is an 18-hole public golf course located in Kern County, California. It is north of Bakersfield and east of Shafter. The course is 6,754 yards on slightly hilly terrain. It was opened in 1953. It is one of three golf courses owned and managed by the County of Kern Parks & Recreation division. We have been providing local golfers quality golf at affordable prices for over 60 years!
