Connecticut's Hidden Jewel. Situated in the heart of Fairfield County, Richter Park Golf Course encompasses over 180 acres of gentle rolling terrain. With West Lake Reservoir bordering seven holes on the front and Boggs Pond bordering the signature 12th, water can come into play on 14 out of 18 holes. Four sets of tees make this scenic layout accommodating for golfers of all skill levels and undulating fairways and fast rolling greens guarded by one of 52 bunkers surrounding the course make it a challenge at every turn. The 18-hole "Richter Park" course features 6,740 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 73.0 and it has a slope rating of 130 on Blue grass. Designed by Edward C. Ryder, the Richter Park golf course opened in 1971.
