Orlando, Florida
It’s impossible to discuss the history of Orlando golf without mentioning Rio Pinar Country Club, which first opened in 1957 as one of two member-owned clubs, a tradition it has maintained for more than 50 years. Rio Pinar currently remains one of the most popular destinations for tee times in Central Florida, and these days it is also the proud home of the University of Central Florida’s Men’s and Women’s golf teams, as well as the Rollins College Men’s golf team. Rio Pinar also lives on as a favorite tournament locale for PGA, LPGA and FSGA events. In the past, these grounds played host to the PGA Tour’s Citrus Open, which saw victories by golf’s greatest champions, such as Lee Trevino, Hale Irwin, Julius Boros and the king, Arnold Palmer. These days it is proud to play host to your next round.
