When golfers hear the name River Bend Links, they think of a tee time on vast, treeless and windswept terrain, and that’s exactly what they find at this wide-open Robinsonville golf course. Famed course architect Clyde Johnston describes River Bend Links as a “field of dunes.” Johnston created this design in the image of the marvelous Scottish links-style courses, and it has become a popular weekend destination for Memphis golf aficionados with a location next to the Mississippi River. It’s all very scenic, and you may encounter a harmless fox or wild turkey as you play through.
