Raleigh, North Carolina
This course has the feel of being in the mountains with its hilly terrain and heavy population of trees. The course is comprised of 180 acres that are nestled along the Neuse River, and are set amongst lush green meadows and freshwater ponds under a canopy of tall oaks, pines and maple trees. Great risk and reward opportunities are everywhere on the golf course, including the par 5 18th where eagle is often carded. Each hole has its unique character and the G6 bentgrass greens are the mainstay of the golf course. Water comes into play on eleven of the eighteen holes, including #5, a 375-yard, par 4, which has a pond sitting in front of the green. Located only ten minutes from downtown Raleigh, River Ridge offers dependable, G-6 bentgrass greens that are maintained to the highest standards by an experienced, well-educated staff.
