Fort Worth, Texas
Rockwood Golf Course is the special facility that never stops improving the quality of its tee times. The original Rockwood Golf Course opened in 1938, making it one of the oldest options for a round of Fort Worth golf. Rockwood management, however, has hardly stopped enhancing the grounds. In recent years they have added a new driving range with 25 practice stations. They also built the the Ben Hogan Learning Center for lessons and a short, breezy course perfect for quick practice. Meanwhile, the original layout remains as challenging and fun as ever. Nicknamed “The Rock,” it spans 6,340 yards from the championship tees for a par of 71. Rockwood’s commitment to improvement is evident every time you step on this course. It’s not to be missed.
