Ashland, Kentucky
The 18-hole Sandy Creek Golf Course has been a favorite tee time for both the Ashland, Kentucky golf and Summit, Kentucky golf communities since it first debuted in 1979. This course accomplishes the difficult double task of challenging veteran players while still being a whole lot of fun for newcomers to this classic game. The layout spans 5,755 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70, a course rating of 67.1 and a slope of 106. It was originally designed by famed course architect Buck Blakenship, whose work remains largely intact to this day.
