Encino Golf Course also has a number of challenging 3 pars. Encino was designed by William P. Bell & Sons and opened in 1957. Encino Municipal Golf Course is the second golf course to be built as part of the 36-hole Sepulveda Dam Recreation Area complex, along with Balboa Municipal Golf Course which opened in 1954.
