Southland opened in 1990 and is approximately 3 miles South of historic Stone Mountain, Georgia. The course offers a setting of pines, hardwoods and rolling terrain with rock outcroppings. A 40 acre lake comes into play on three holes. Golfers at Southland will enjoy the panoramic view of Stone Mountain from the first and final three holes. The course features Penncross Bentgrass greens, bermuda fairways and bermuda tees. Speedy play is encouraged. Southland also offers a complete pro shop, a lounge and an extremely nice "banquet building" which is ideal for social outings. Corporate outings are welcome at Southland.
