The Sudden Valley golf course was designed by world renowned golf course architect Ted Robinson (Indian Wells Resort, Riviera Country Club, Sahalee Country Club) to be the centerpiece for the community of Sudden Valley. Rated "Four Stars" by Golf Digest, Sudden Valley has been requested as the site of many major Northwest tournaments including a Washington State Open, four Washington State Men's Amateur Championships, a Master-40, a Washington State Senior Women's Championship, the Men's Mid-Am and numerous PNWPGA Pro-Amateur tournaments.
