Griffin Country Club’s 18 hole championship golf course has been the site of many contested matches over the years, from charity outings, and member tournaments to friendly competitions. Designed by Willard C. Byrd, this par 72 golf course features gentle rolling hills, and tree lined fairways with picturesque creeks meandering throughout the layout. Over the years the legacy of Griffin Country Club has been marked by numerous prestigious qualifying tournaments such as U.S. Open, Atlanta Open and the Georgia State Open. The club continues to write history each year when it plays hosts to one of the Georgia PGA’s biggest tournaments of the year, the Griffin Classic.
