West Branch, Michigan
Among one of the jewels in northern Michigan golf is The Dream. Opened in 1997, The Dream is literally carved out of 312 acres of hardwoods to form one the most spectacular courses in Michigan. The course can be reached along Old 76 just three miles west of downtown West Branch. The Dream, a mandatory cart and spikeless golf course, designed by Jeff Gorney, is completely tree-lined, with elevation changes of up to 100 feet. Featuring 7,000 yards of golf from the longest tees, this par-72 course is a scenic and challenging course. Signature features include extremely wide and rolling fairways surrounded by mature oaks and maples. You will find 50 sand traps to test your shot making skill. The development of the course was directly related to the golfers playing experience. From fairway to the green you will find The Dream to be extremely friendly. Tees and greens are perfectly groomed to provide the very best playing conditions possible. The convenient location of The Dream near I-75 adds to the many benefits that this course brings to the area. The Dream is a championship golf course that will accommodate golfers of all ability. From the first tee to the 18th green the views are spectacular, the bunker placements are near perfect and the greens receptive to approach shots. Greens are at least 10,000 square feet and offer inviting challenges to the golfer. Golfers will also enjoy the bent grass tees, greens and fairways.
