East Bethel, Minnesota
Opened in 1987, course architect Ron Olson has created an 18-hole East Bethel golf course that plays 6,428 yards from the back tees, is a par 72, on bluegrass that has a slope of 124. The Meadows course makes the most of the natural landscape, winding through the foothills and cut amongst some areas of thick, wooded forest. A combination of lakes and streams running through the course bring water into play on some eight holes, especially the par five 9th, and 18th holes, which encourage some careful thought in order to make the most of these relatively short par 5’s. The Meadows course also has four sets of tees, with the shortest being 5,421 yards, which makes it just as fun and playable for the high and low handicapper alike. Tee times in East Bethel can be found and you can get discount Viking Meadows Golf Club tee times in order to enjoy the Meadows course. While it may not be on everyone’s best golf courses in Minnesota list, past players have enjoyed their experience at Viking Meadows, and said things like how un-crowded they found the course, and how it had a nice mixture of narrow, and wide fairways.
